A Prayer for the Family of Pope Francis and the Family of Christ

Gracious and Eternal God,

We pause in this moment with humble hearts, lifting up to You the family of Pope Francis. Strengthen them with Your peace, comfort them with Your love, and surround them with the assurance of Your presence.

We also lift up all our wonderful friends in the family of Christ around the world. Unite us in Your Spirit, guide us in Your truth, and bind us together with cords of compassion and grace.

May the Church universal continue to be a light in dark places, a refuge for the weary, and a testimony of the risen Savior.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King, we pray—Amen.
